A thank-you from the 228th Engineer Vertical Construction Company to our elementary students who made ornaments for Operation Evergreen:
We would like to all extend our sincerest gratitude for your support and
your hospitality. Through your contributions we are able to bring the
Holiday Spirit to our Home away from Home.
Again we appreciate all you do. Stay safe, healthy, and Happy.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
What do you do when your headphone breaks... you give it to a fellow Hornet to fix! There is nothing we love more than students taking their own initiative and finding the "spark" that drives them! #HornetshelpingHornets

Junior, Chance Gossman, is currently leading the world competition held through Vex called Planet HEXBUG. This is an open-ended coding exploration, where code brings students VR HEXBUG nano to life in a rich, virtual world!
In the Planet HEXBUG activity, students code a VR nano trying to survive in a virtual world. As the VR nano explores, it will need to find food and defeat enemies in order to survive. Using the VR nano's built in AI technology to help it smell food, sense enemies, and remember its home.
