March is Music in our Schools month! We kick off the month with our Showcase of Bands concert on Thursday, March 3 at 7:30pm in the auditorium. Admission is free and will include performances by the 5th grade band, 6th grade band, 7/8 grade band and high school band.
CRES is gearing up for Right to Read next week... A book a day keeps the monsters away!
Families are invited to join us for games, activities and food Tuesday, March 8th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Pizza, chips, dessert, and drinks will be provided to those who RSVP. We invite families to choose a free book provided by the Cory-Rawson Education Association through the "Reading Opens the World" initiative.

You may remember that our fifth graders raised funds for Honor Flight using proceeds from their Snowman Soup economics project in December.
Today, Mr. Wineberg from Flag City Honor Flight came to thank the fifth graders for their donation and talked to us about Honor Flight and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which he guarded during his time in the Army. #HornetStrong
