Hazel Dixon qualified for the state indoor track and field meet in shotput and will compete at the SPIRE center in Geneva Friday.
Becca Ludwig qualified for the state FFA beginning prepared public speaking CDE, which will be held in Marysvillle this weekend.

A huge Thank You to Mark Brumbaugh, an experienced trapper (52 years) from the area. Mark presented to the Environmental Science Class by explaining the importance and reasons that animals are trapped. The students were able to see how various traps worked and the process of preparing the fur for use or sale.





Saddle Up and Read is the theme of 2023 Right to Read Week (March 3-10).
Literacy night will be held on Wednesday, March 8 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Pizza, chips, cookies and a beverage will be provided to those who RSVP. Dr. Hilty will send out invites to parents via Thrillshare and RSVPs will be directed to Jenni Wilson (wilson@cory-rawson.org). The Hancock County Public Library will provide games and have a library card sign up.
The book fair will be open in the library beginning Saturday March 4th from 9-12 and each day throughout the week until 4 p.m. and on Literacy night until 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the book fair support our school library.
Right to Read week will feature guest readers throughout the week, an afternoon movie, reading rewards for students, a coloring contest and student dress up days. They are as follows:
Monday: Read a Shirt Day
Tuesday: Hats off for Reading! Wear your favorite hat
Wednesday: Boot Scootin Boogie Day, Wear your favorite boots
Thursday: Wild about Reading Day, Wear any animal print or animal shirt
Friday: Toy Story Day, Dress like Woody or Jessie from Toy Story
Our school cafeteria will feature a western themed menu for the week.
