CRHS Student-Artists Highlighted in Congressional Art Competition Seven high school students had artwork selected to be part of the annual Congressional Art Competition: Blue Marquart, Lily Peterman, Lilian Gregorowicz, Cloe Shroeder, Trevor Hibbard, Suzie Clawson, and Arrow Stanfield. This competition is open to all high school students, grades 9-12, who live or attend school in Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District. All artwork will be displayed at Owens Community College Findlay Area Campus. The winning piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. for one year, and three honorable mention pieces will be displayed in Congressman Latta’s district offices. #HornetStrong

The bracket style debate competition kicked off a few weeks ago requiring students to go head to head debating assigned topics using factual information supported by evidence. The Environmental Science class had the opportunity to participate in a lab that taught them the proper way to fillet a fish. Each student was able to fillet 2 different species of fish found in Northwest Ohio. The lab was directed by Jaron Beck from the ODNR.
