Art club participated in a hot glass workshop this morning at FireNation in Holland, Ohio before joining us for Community Day. Each student worked with a glass artist to make their own paperweight! The pieces will be on display at the All School Art & Tech Show May 20th!

CRHS Student-Artists Highlighted in Congressional Art Competition
Seven high school students had artwork selected to be part of the annual Congressional Art Competition: Blue Marquart, Lily Peterman, Lilian Gregorowicz, Cloe Shroeder, Trevor Hibbard, Suzie Clawson, and Arrow Stanfield.
This competition is open to all high school students, grades 9-12, who live or attend school in Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District. All artwork will be displayed at Owens Community College Findlay Area Campus. The winning piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. for one year, and three honorable mention pieces will be displayed in Congressman Latta’s district offices. #HornetStrong
We're grateful for the generosity of Morrison Electric and the Miracle family and businesses for the donation of Stop the Bleed kits that will be located throughout the school campus and buses. Today the overall winner was announced for our 8th grade debate competition.
The bracket style debate competition kicked off a few weeks ago requiring students to go head to head debating assigned topics using factual information supported by evidence.

The Environmental Science class had the opportunity to participate in a lab that taught them the proper way to fillet a fish. Each student was able to fillet 2 different species of fish found in Northwest Ohio. The lab was directed by Jaron Beck from the ODNR.
