Friday Additions:

  • There will be a junior class meeting at the end of lunch today. We will meet in the HS commons at 12:30.

  • We will be holding our first pep rally starting at 2:30.

  • High School Students - Please check your email for the Homecoming court voting form! Voting ends at 1pm TODAY and the court will be announced during the pep rally!

Wednesday Additions:

  • Last night at the Waynesfield Goshen Tri meet, the MS boys won, with Thomas Craig winning, Tobin Foust placing 3rd, and Jadyn Sammet finishing in 4th. Karlie Sammet finished 2nd in the HS girls race. In the MS girls race, Lilly Reese finished 3rd. Their next race will be this Saturday at the Van Buren Invitational to be run at Owens Community College.

  • Today at 1 we will be having a 7-12 assembly listening to nationally known Brad Hurtig. All stidents will be released from 6th period via the pa.

  • 7th and 8th grade volleyball picked up another victory last night, sweeping McComb in both matches! Both teams are now 8-1!

Tuesday Additions:

  • If you are preparing to take the ACT this year, please consider attending the ACT Test Prep at Liberty Benton on Thursday, October 10th and Tuesday, October 15th. There will be 2 sessions each night from 7:00-8:10 and 8:20-9:30 PM. English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science will be presented during each session. There is no charge to attend each night.

  • Congratulations to the 7th grade, 8th grade and varsity volleyball teams for their victories last night! 7th and 8th grade volleyball defeated Waynesfield-Goshen to stay undefeated in league play and varsity volleyball picked up a league win with a 3-0 sweep of USV!

  • Don't miss out on some yummy Chipotle! Cory Rawson students going on the Spanish field trip will be having a Fundraiser this Wednesday from 5-9 PM Please come support!

Morning Announcements:

  • NHS and NJHS forms have now been emailed to students with qualifying grade point averages. NHS forms are due by 8AM next Monday the 16th, and NJHS forms are due by next Tuesday the 17th. Please contact Mrs. Stockwell if you have any questions!

  • Any 7-12 grade student interested in participating in basketball cheer, basketball, or wrestling this year, please sign up for the sport on FinalForms.

  • Extra 2023-2024 yearbooks are now available for $50 each. To purchase one, please bring your payment to Mrs. Cuellar. Supplies are limited, so be sure to get yours soon!

  • 9th-12th graders, please check your email for the Homecoming Court Nominations form! Nominations will be accepted until 3:05pm on Wednesday! Final court voting will be sent out Thursday morning and Homecoming Court will be announced on Friday.

  • An organizational meeting will be held for the High School Fellowship of Christian Hornets on Tuesday, September 16th during lunch period in Mrs. Bucher's room. If you have ideas to share for the year or wish to be a leader, see you Tuesday at lunch! Go to the front of the line and get your meal in a Styrofoam container

  • This past Saturday, the cross country teams ran at the Waynesfield Goshen Night meet. The HS Boys finished 2nd with Wyatt Foust placing 2nd. The HS Girls also finished 2nd with Karlie Sammet placing 3rd. In the MS races, Ayla Fought won the girls race. The MS Boys won, with Thomas Craig placing 1st, Tobin Foust placing 2nd, and Jadyn Sammet placing 3rd. Congratulations to all of the runners
